I’m Jan, an artist known for using vibrant colours that hit first and ask questions later.

I don’t always know what I’m feeling and truthfully it doesn’t really matter. The energetic effect of my emotions inspires my creativity and I use colour, symbolism, and layout to release that onto canvas. Art is my unapologetic processing laid bare. 

My style blends realism, symbolism, and eclectic edge. It stares down the illusions of calm, the grind for stability, and the quiet search for meaning while life keeps twisting. 

Each finished painting contains an oracle: a thought-seed planted for self reflection or deeper contemplation. These are simply awareness invitations as we navigate our place in this ever-changing world.
